EFA Day Membership
Persons who wish to participate in Club organised horse activity days, who are not registered members of the Club or direct members of the EFA, can do so by the way of EFA Day Membership.
The following rules apply:
1. The person must sign the EFA Non Member Waiver
2. The person must pay the appropriate $20 fee set by the EA National Office
3. The horse club must be insured via the EFA Insurance program
For the period of the event the non member is deemed to be a member of the club during such activites for the purposes of participation only.
Protection is afforded to the participant under the club's public liability policy during such activites where they are liable for bodily injury or property damage to others.
By signing the waiver, the participant is giving up substantial rights to sue the EFA-Insured affliated club and/or the EA for injuries sustained themselves.
This Day Membership does not entitle the participant to cover under the EA Personal Accident Insurance.
The completed waiver is to be kept by the club and in the event of a claim, provided upon request by the insurer as proof of attendance.
The Remittance Advise for non member applications must be completed and forwarded to EA National Office with payment upon completion of the event.
Direct EA members DO NOT have to pay day membership at any event conducted by an EA-Insured affiliated club.
EFA affiliated clubs who are NOT insured under the EA Insurance program CANNOT use EA Day Membership.
