Bruce Chamberlain President | Brief History on your involvement in Equestrian: My wife, Michelle and daughter, Prue have shown horses since the early 90's. Michelle had shown horses when she was young aswell. I just help out as dads do. I ran the horse section of the Kilmore Agricultural Show for five or six years and was President of the Society for a few years during the 90's as well. I became Treasurer with the EFA in 2003. Significant Sporting Achievements: Sadly, I have no significant sporting achievements. As a family though, we've done quite well with our showhorses at some Royal Shows and Prue has won her riding at both Adelaide and Melbourne Royals aswell as some Turnout classes at Royals. Other board of committee positions you hold/have previously held: I was a Board member at the Goulbourn Valley Region Water Authority from 2003-2007. I am a director of the Victoria Indigenous Nurseries Co-operative Ltd and the Chairman of the Advisory Board of The kilmore International School Ltd and a lifetime trustee of the Kilmore Racecourse and Recreation Reserve. I was Chairman of the Board of the Kilmore and District Hospital for 3 years during the 90's when we finished a $2 million hospital redevelopment and we conceived, fundraised and build a $2 million aged care hostel attached to the hospital. I am a fellow Certified Practising Accountant and and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Our family business involvements are our Accounting Practice, advertising and light manufacturing. I have been in the past, a senior investigator for the National Crime Authority, the Tricontinental Royal Commission and Corporate Affairs Victoria. |

Barry Roycroft
| Brief history on your involvement in Equestrian: I have been riding for most of my life. During my school years I rode 3 miles to school, and went through pony club. I rode at my first Olympics as a 20yr old and have been involved with Horse Administration and Coaching since 1965, I am currently a Level 3 Coach. I have been a member of the Victorian EFA Branch for many years. Significant Sporting Achievements: Selected to represent Australia at 4 Olympic Games. Competed at 3 Olympics 1964, 1976 & 1988. Twice as a showjumper, and once in the 3DE team. I received a Team Bronze medal at the World Games in 1986 and was also leading Australian Rider at the 1986 world games. Since retiring from International competition I have concentrated on coaching – most recently coaching the Gold medal winning Japanese team at the Asian games in 2006 Other Board or Committee positions: Chair Eventing Victoria, Member National Evening Comm. National Eventing Selector, National High Performance Coach, Board member of Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. Coaching consultant JEF (Japan) and FEI International Judge & TD Eventing. |

Susannah Clarke | Brief history on your involvement in Equestrian: Early involvement in equestrian consisted of cattle work on our property in the Western District of Victoria and later droving and camp drafting in the Channel Country of far western Queensland. My involvement then followed my children's participation in the sport through all phases of Pony Club, Showing – both hack and stock horse classes, Dressage and Eventing. Through dressage, I have attended many overseas events, in South Africa, North America, Germany and culminating in taking a horse to New Zealand for the Trans-Tasman in dressage. I have also been chef d'equipe for Pony Club National Championships as well as for EFA National and State Championships (Dressage) EFA Committees include Dressage Festival committee, Event Director Young Rider and Pony Dressage Championships (National Championships - which included bringing riders from 4 countries to compete on borrowed horses. I currently have two horses competing – Come To Me at FEI level, and Silvermunda in HRCAV Have recently sold Guy Noir (Lucky) who will be competing at RDA. Through these horses I am attending events regularly. Significant sporting achievements: Played pennant golf for Royal Melbourne and Gisborne Golf Clubs for many years including representing Central Districts at Country Teams week I have also been Club Champion at Point Lonsdale before horses took over my life! Other board or committee positions you hold or have previously held (in any field): Previously been Vice President Women of the Year Committee, raising money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service – WA Branch. Board of Geelong Grammar Foundation. DC and Treasurer Riddells Creek Pony Club for approx 6 years. Currently, Patron St. George's Church Restoration Appeal, Queenscliff; Rupertswood Battery – Salesian College, Sunbury and Rupertswood Horse Association, Townsville. Event Secretary, Candlebark Horse Trials_Junior Vice-President EFA and Chair Dressage Sub-Committee. Clubs: Royal Melbourne and Barwon Heads Golf Clubs, and Alexandra Club. |

Peter Gardiner | Brief history of your involvement in Equestrian: I have been involved with horses for many years, attending Pony Club from an early age. Riding at Royal Shows at both Jumping and Showing. My involvement continued after marriage and having two girls that were horse mad. We have traveled to most Agricultural Shows and Royals over the years. I continue to work for the Show Horse members. Significant sporting achievements: Winning Six Bar Showjumping and Puissance at Royal Shows. Participating in the Horse Sport Industry. Other board or committee positions you hold/ have previously held: District Commissioner for 8 years Sunbury Pony Club. Horse Committee for several years at Sunbury Agricultural Show. Committee Member Lalor BMX Club. Past- Federal Chairman Show Horse. Current Chairman Victoria Show horse. |

Michelle Chamberlain | Michelle has been a member of the EFA for around 20 years. She has competed in Show Horse throughout that time and is a Nationally Accredited Show Horse Judge. Even though she doesn't ride any more, her daughter continues showing and they see equestrian sports as a strong family involvement. Michelle took up the position of Director of the EFA Interschool Challenge Championship when it was recommenced under its original style in early 2008 and stood for and was elected to Branch in November 2008. She was appointed to the Board as Treasurer at that time. For over 20 years she was Practice Manager of her husband's Accounting Practice and was involved in all areas of practice planning, client service and financial management. Prior to that she had years of experience with a major retailer in Credit Management and subsequent banking and insurance company employment. |
