STOP PRESS- news on PRIME EQUUS Spring ChampionshipsPrime Equus Championships are still going ahead at this stage but it is lineball!! The arenas are very wet. Both our course builders David Sheppard and Greg Stephens have built in the difficult conditions and at this stage are happy to run. Unfortunately more rain is forecast for tonight so an inspection will be made at 9am tomorrow morning to review the arenas. SO WATCH THIS SPACE tomorrow. I know this will be hard for people to make the decision to come as 9am is too late to leave home- but it is the best we can do in this situation. We are lucky at WPNEC that the sand arenas are all-weather so it would have to be a lot of rain to interfere with the show so - it is going ahead at this stage dependant on the rainfall overnight not being excessive with a review tomorrow morning 9am to confirm.

Notice of Annual General Meeting- 26 October 2010The Annual General Meeting will be held at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, 170 K Rd at 7:00pm, 26th October, in the Old Administration Building. Equestrian Victoria Board and Branch members invite all current Equestrian Victoria members to attend. Please RSVP to ceo@equestrianvictoria.com.au or call 03 9013 0707 for catering a light supper. Positions which are up for re-election are: -Ordinary member three positions, term of office expired are: Jan Smith, Neil Clinton and Peter Gardiner. -Constituent member four positions, terms of office expired are: Berwick Dressage Club (Jo Flood), MSJC (Reg Cleland), YVDC (Kim Anning) Please see nomination forms below. Saddleworld Dressage Festival 2010- Press Relesse, Schedule and Entry Form!PRESS RELEASE2010 SADDLEWORLD DRESSAGE FESTIVAL SCHEDULE AVAILABLEThe entry schedule for this year’s Saddleworld Dressage Festival is now available and can be downloaded from www.vicequestrian.org.au Held at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre from December 9 -12, the Festival incorporates the Victorian Dressage Championships for all levels from Preliminary to Grand Prix, pony classes from Preliminary to Medium, and young horse qualifiers for competitors looking ahead to next year’s PSI DJWTS. This year’s Festival again includes two feature events. The highly coveted Marcus Oldham Aachen Challenge for young riders aged 16-25years and the Pacific League World Cup Final which provides the winner with the opportunity to represent Australia at the World Cup Final in Leipzig, Germany in April 2011.
